As with the replica Mallory boot, Everest is made using the same waterproof side leather, a half-bellows tongue, and a waterproof feather-line membrane to minimise the chances of water permeating through the welt area. We have used a combination of materials to highlight the original design. To irrevocably link the two boots you will find the inclusion of Yurt felt that sits between the outer leather and the tongue lining, visualised by a window for all to see this unique material. Everest sits on the English-made Commando Cleated Rubber sole. A high quality rubber sole used during both World Wars.
